NISKAYUNA, New York –April 2, 2024–Momentive Performance Materials, Inc. (Momentive), a global high-performance silicones and specialty solutions company, confirms its presence at in-cosmetics 2024in Paris, France, April 16-18. Momentive launched HARMONIE range in 2023, the line has grown and will be the company’s focus for the show.

The HARMONIE product range combines Momentive’s world-leading technical expertise with naturally derived plant and mineral feedstocks. This winning combination delivers high-performance personal care ingredients with a higher content from bio based renewable feedstocks.

It is the first stage of a wider development program of naturally derived products to continue to meet the industry’s need for the next generation of beauty products with high-performance and aesthetic properties that fit today’s value-driven consumers.

To showcase the solutions’ performance, Momentive brings to in-cosmetics a series of 90%+naturally-derived formulations, developed by theCompany’s Application Development Specialists. There will also be a focus on solutions for hair serums including the recently launched Harmonie GB-2301 blend, an ideal alternative to silicone gum blends based on volatile silicones such as Cyclopentasiloxane (D5), especially considering upcoming European regulatory changes.

HARMONIE is Momentive’s first in the beauty sector that incorporates plant-derived materials. Momentive will continue to develop naturally derived and natural products that offer comparable performance to silicone-based ingredients.
