Momentive is proud to announce that Harmonie^™ Soft fluid is now available as RSPO MB (Mass Balance) certified.

Momentive is committed to developing innovations for a more sustainable future. The launch of Harmonie™ product range is a testament to this commitment. These ingredients have a higher naturality index while offer comparable performance to silicone-based solutions.

As part of this development journey of Harmonie™ portfolio of natural and naturally derived ingredients for the Beauty and Personal Care market, Momentive has become a member of the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). 

As a global, not for profit organization, the RSPO works to promote the benefits of sustainable palm and to develop and implement global standards and we are excited to be part of that. Palm (including palm kernel) oil represents one of the most common feedstocks for the beauty and personal care industry and is the raw material of part of Harmonie^™ portfolio.

Being a member, Momentive is in the process of pursuing certification for products which contains palm oil derivates within their composition.  Harmonie™ Soft fluid is the first product to be available with RSPO MB (mass balance) certification, the product name will remain unchanged and further products will be added in the future. 

Momentive Performance Materials Inc. has received certification to RSPO (Round table on Sustainable Palm Oil) Supply Chain Standards in April 2024.
